Terms of Service

1. Service Description

GetMyBot ("the Service") is a managed AI assistant platform operated by Jeff & Dave ("we", "us", "our"). We provide infrastructure, tools, and a management portal for personal AI assistants powered by third-party AI providers.

2. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Model

GetMyBot operates on a BYOK model. You are required to provide your own API keys from supported AI providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). This means:

• AI usage costs are billed directly by your chosen provider, not by us.
• You are responsible for managing your API key usage and spending limits.
• We do not have access to your API key usage dashboards or billing.
• Your API keys are encrypted at rest on our servers and are only used to facilitate communication between your assistant and your chosen AI provider.

3. What We Charge For

Our subscription fee (£9.99/month) covers the platform service:

• Managed hosting and infrastructure
• Portal access for configuration and management
• Skills marketplace and installation
• Telegram bot integration
• Personal website subdomain hosting
• Ongoing updates and maintenance
• Customer support

This fee does not include AI provider API costs, which are billed separately by your provider.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card statement will show "GetMyBot" or "GetMyBot via Stripe".

4. Open Source Components

GetMyBot is built on open-source software, primarily OpenClaw (MIT License) and skills from ClawHub (MIT License). These components are freely available. Our service provides the managed hosting, curation, integration, and support layer on top of these open-source foundations.

5. Your Responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, do not create an account.
• Keep your API keys secure. Do not share them with others.
• Comply with the terms of service of your chosen AI provider.
• Do not use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• You are responsible for any content generated by your AI assistant.

6. Data and Content

Files you create or upload through your assistant are stored in your workspace on our servers. You retain ownership of your content. We do not access, read, or use your content except as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the portal billing page or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, your assistant will be deactivated at the end of the current billing period.

If you cancel within 14 days of your first subscription payment, we will refund the full amount (statutory cooling-off period under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations). After 14 days, you retain access until the end of the current billing period, but paid fees are non-refundable. For 6-month plans cancelled after the 14-day cooling-off period, no pro-rata refund is given — you retain access for the remainder of the 6-month term.

Free trial users are not charged and can cancel at any time without payment.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to AI-generated content, API costs incurred, or service downtime.

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
